Quilts by the Sea

Originally situated in the town of Lunenburg, Quilts by the Sea has been sold and relocated to the town of Blockhouse, just 10 km away on Route 324. If traveling the HWY 103, it is just off the Exit 11 ramp.

All our quilts and handiwork had been made by talented people of the Maritime Provinces, from the full size quilts to the beautiful wall hangings to the hooked rugs. The majority of the quilts offered will have been hand quilted by an individual, a dying art. Hand quilting will be a rare commodity in the near future, as many have opted into machine quilting with their home machines or by a long arm quilting machine. Additionally, Quilts by the Sea offers fabrics, notions, kits and classes, all of which are not represented on the website. If you have an opportunity to come in, it will always be a pleasure seeing and visiting with you.
